Individual Work-Equine Facilitated Psychotherapy

Working with Dr. Broder and an intuitive horse, individuals doing equine facilitated psychotherapy get in touch with themselves on deeper levels then they may have ever felt before, in ways that are only possible with a horse. This is a guided and contained, yet freeing experience that is different every time for each individual. Sessions have an educational component, including equine and psychological bases. In addition there is an intuitive and spiritual aspect to the sessions. Using the horse as the guide in the unfolding of the session, individuals will come into contact with the things that they need to address in their life. Common themes are: personal boundaries, self-esteem, communication patterns (i.e. assertive vs. passive or passive/aggressive), loneliness and general fears.
